Now stocking YSR In-Line Reducers

Cobra Wire & Cable, Inc. is taking the lead with Burndy® YSR In-Line Reducers by stocking the full line of these products. The Hyreducer™ reducing splice kits provide for splicing two different cable sizes. The streamlined splice provides a more professional appearance then bulky H-Tap splices and is recommended by AT&T and Verizon. The larger conductor is inserted first and butts against the center of the connector where the smaller barrel begins. They are constructed from seamless, high conductivity electrolytic copper tubing for maximum conductivity, and tin plated for corrosion resistance. Each barrel has an inspection hole and features the Burndy® color code system.

Burndy's YSR system perfectly complements Cobra's telecommunication and DC Power product focus. Copflex 2000® is Cobra's Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) telecom power cable while X-Flex® is the most flexible DC Power cable available and the perfect choice when LSZH is not a requirement. Cobra's Telecom and DC Power product line is rounded out with a large inventory of Burndy® and Panduit® lugs and connectivity products, tooling, fiber paper, lacing cord, 145C and P tags and heat shrink.
